-the whitest state in the U.S. -quite rural -not wealthy -Obama defeated Romney there by 15 points in 2012 even though in the national popular vote it was by 4 points. Four years later, Maine goes for Hillary by a measly 3 points AND Trump won 1 of its 4 Electoral Votes by winning Maine's 2nd Congressional District.
I am convinced that it's Maine, not Nevada, and not even Minnesota, that's the true stealth Trump state, the true ace in the hole. Let's see how good my prophecy skillz are.
In my map I put only the 2nd district Red, but please, by all means win the whole state.
An additional bonus would be watching that cuckold Stephen King REEE
No chance he'll carry the 1st district....but the second looks likely....and two of Maine's 4 votes go to the state-wide popular vote...and that might be within striking distance too.
Hopefully we'll get 3 Electoral College votes then!
What if I told you he was taking ME, MN, and NV all 3
along with NH, NM, and maybe even VA
those are the 6 of 7 states I have as flipping from Hillary to Trump. Tim Kaine is not in the VP slot this time, lowering Biden's chances to win Virginia.
I look at the rallies, caravans, and parades and I think everything we see in the media today is just as wrong as it was the day before election day 4 years ago. I think this is gonna be a curb stomping. I think the real shocker is going to be the percentage of Ds who go for GEOTUS. Many of them, incidentally, black and hispanic.
New Mexico? Hmm
New Mexico is home to the Permian Basin, the big new oil-drilling hotspot, after the Bakken. It has made NM one of the biggest players in the oil industry, along with AK, TX and ND, Biden promised to transition away from the oil industry, despite all the NM people it employes and the revenue it provides for the state. Steve Pearce (state GOP Chairman) says Trump will win it, and It's gotten so bad there for that the Democrat running for re-election in NM-2 flat-out said she's siding with the GOP on this issue. If Trump doesn't win it, it's only going to be by a hair, that I can tell you.
My prediction for Oregon: Biden will win it's popular vote but given Oregon passed a law giving their electoral votes to the national popular vote winner...they might regret that on Wednesday morning lulz.
Probably, and New Hampshire too unless the massholes steal it again. Thousands come up and vote in NH with an out of state license.
Hope you are right! 🇺🇸
You may be right but I'm not sure how their ranked choice system will work in practice
Just vote straight across for republican for 1st, 2nd, 3rd choice, etc and it will count.
