The White House gives the word and the Streets can be filled with Troops in a matter of hours. QRFs could probably be there in less then an hour from some of the closer bases.
Not to mention D.C National Guard. As well as Federal Security Agents.
Basically they might see initial success. Especially with insiders. But then they get crushed.
