MN here, My wife was a hardcore liberal not even 5 years back. She thought rural MN was fill of retard farmers and the like. As she started going to my families parties and events she started to see how normal things were with them and that the cities is where the crazy folks live. I didn't tell her to do anything, im not that kind of guy. I just let her observe and make up her own mind. She went to school for photography and got this stupid expensive degree that we are still trying to pay off. I had told her I didn't like that but let her do what she wanted because she was happy.
Since then she realized that her decision was dumb and has started going to school for medical, I 100% back this decision as the job outlook is looking great and the pay is not bad, plus its only 2 more years and she can go back for a BS degree if she wants to advance. Since she is in school she has not had time to look over where the candidate are on different issues.
Today I made a spreadsheet of all the candidates (yes, even yeezy himself) for her to go over so she can read it over and see where people are. She didn't ask I just did it to be nice and I didn't want to tell her who to vote for. She is an adult and I'll treat her like one. She told me she didn't need to see it, she was voting Trump. I asked her why and she cant support someone like Joe Biden who is so hard for abortions. She also realized that Trump is really good for normal people, she saw how my family is out in the country and saw that they had been doing really well when everyone here in the cities was telling her that Trump was a failure. She even saw we were doing really well until Covid hit. She isn't hardcore on the Trump train but she said her vote was going Trump for sure this time. Her mom, who was also a lifelong dem, is also going Trump. Obviously my entire family from out in rural MN is voting Trump except my brother who still lives with mom and dad, he wanted Sanders obviously but I doubt he is voting Trump. When people say there are no Trump supporters, even in the cities, they are wrong. We are just quiet, we don't go blasting horns and waving flags. We just do our business, we go to work, buy our food, get gas, and then go home. But we will show up to the polls and we will vote MAGA.
MN is definitely in play. Hennepin County is not going to dictate the lives of the entire state. I really think we are going to see something VERY interesting tomorrow. I am seeing more Trump everywhere, on flags, on cars, on shirts, EVERYWHERE! Do not give up, this can happen.
