My uncle is very ill. My cousin is dragging him down to the polls to vote in person. Pushing him in a wheel chair if he has to. My uncle wants to vote TRUMP. In person.
My dad was terminally ill in 2016 with pulmonary fibrosis and could barely get out of bed. He was on oxygen. It took everything he had to walk from the bed to the bathroom. But that Election Day he got up and got ready and went with my mom to cast a vote for Trump. It took everything he had to do it, but he did it. After Trump defeated Hillary, my dad was thrilled. It gave him a little pep and a renewed hope. He was hoping to hang around until the inauguration, but unfortunately, he died shortly after the New Year. Not long after his death, my mom got a letter from President Trump. It was a letter of appreciation for my father’s service in the military. It meant the world to my mom, as my dad was in Vietnam and had been spit on when he arrived back in the USA. Trump was the first and only politician to ever say thank you.
My uncle is in a somewhat similar situation, but I do believe he has some hope for a full recovery. We shall see.
Do people actually not vote if the weather is shitty? Literally fair weather voters?

FYI: He is not contagious.
Even if he was I would say he did the right thing.
Covid is far less scary than 4 years of leftist rule
Well, can you imagine if he went in there with Covid? People would lose their minds! lol
Hope your uncle hangs in there.
Thanks. I do too.

I hope he gets to see the results.
Thank you.
Was pouring rain in FL yesterday. Did not see one person leave the line which wrapped around the sizable library.
When I came out it was a steady drizzle, and the line had nearly doubled.
Turnout/energy was palpable
Well, the thing about FL is it rains hard AF for 15 min, then it's perfectly sunny. People were just avoiding the deluge.
Didnt see that many soy boys/poison dart frog hair look alikes.
So, yeah...
"Poison dart frog hair"
Kek! The thing is, I know exactly what you mean.
Yes. My incredibly MAGA friend put up a fight about it being cold today, even though he isn't sure he's free tomorrow to vote.
Not MAGA enough!
Since you say he "put up a fight," I take it you drug him to the polls?
He did his duty but it's hard to drag someone somewhere from over 1000 miles away.
I put on my Scott Adams persuasion cap ;)
Thank you! I just can't imagine "gee it's cold today I think I'll just let them forfeit US sovereignty and usher in communism"
People are lazy-especially liberals.
On a large scale, it does have an impact.
