Do your research. Find out who you get to vote for, search their names, and check who's for muh diversity or other PC shit and who is against it. That's how you'll know who to vote for in non-partisan races.

Most of those local races have taken on the "no labels" thing so you MUST do your own research. A few elections ago, I went to the poll to vote and a couple of them were standing outside. I asked them if they were for or against Obamacare. One said "that's not a local issue" and I said "it tells me how you'd vote on the local things." He wouldn't answer so I told him "you refusing to give me an answer tells me everything."

I researched my 5 candidates. They had a sort of mock debate that they filmed and made public. All 5 were varying degrees of progressive and stupid. In the end, I took note of the 3 least destructive of them, and will hold my noses while voting.
