Colorado and New Jersey take political lawn sign stealing seriously, $750 and $1000 fines. It might be a felony in NJ, I forget.
Not all states disqualify felons from voting, but often election crimes can or do strip that right, since it's related to the offense committed. Probably not for one lawn sign, but might be different for a car load.
don't underestimate the hassle that can come to a persons life from getting caught like that or the importance of draining their time and resources. A lot of lefties go around pretending to be normies and if one works in an office, getting arrested for something like this, will reveal them for the crazy they really are.
But also another reason for my advice is that if you got people in your area that will go and vandalize your stuff over politics, you now really need to have cameras and home security because these nuts are all over the internet right now promising revenge and retribution either way.
