That's probably also why they think guns are totally unnecessary. In a homogenous little country where your neighbors have the same values you do, there is little gang warfare. They look at the number of gun deaths here and think their way is superior, without realizing that the vast majority of those deaths are from gangs and drug dealers. They don't get their guns legally any more than they get their drugs legally, so it has nothing to do with the weapon of choice. Europe is starting to see what happens when some of your neighbors prefer gangs, robbery, and murder to obeying the law.
