Sunni and Shiites are two different sects of Islam. The both follow the Koran but the Koran is not the only text in Islam. As you said, there are also the ahadith - stories of the words and deeds of Mohammed. These are second in importance only to the Koran.
Ahadith stories are gathered into distinct collections. Sunnis and Shiites follow different collections of ahadith. The ahadith you see Tawhidi mock, criticize, and reject are always Sunni ahadith. This is natural for a Shiite imam: Shiites have been mocking and criticizing Sunni ahadith for generations. It's what they do.
Shiites regard much (sometimes all) of the Sunni Sihah (authentic Sunni ahadith) as not only illegitimate but also hateful and highly offensive, as Shiites believe those stories were narrated by the enemies of Ahl al-Bayt, or Mohammed's family line.
Tawhidi tries to pass off his criticizing the Sunni ahadith as somehow reformist, or revolutionary. That couldn't be farther from the truth. He is simply doing what Shiite imams have been doing for more than a millennium.
Tawhidi's antics and deceptions depend on Western ignorance. He hopes you have no understanding of the differences between Shiites and Sunni Muslims, or their texts. He assumes you are too dumb to look any of this up and you're too stupid to grasp it even if you did. Remember: the Koran tells him you are literally the lowest of all creatures (98:6 and 8:55). He expects nothing more of you.
