Years after his daughter died in a car accident, he didn’t feel the story was carrying enough weight so he began saying that his daughter was killed by a drunk driver. The driver was not drunk. It was a freak accident and the judge ruled that it was not the drivers fault. He served zero jail time as a result, but he did have to deal with the anguish of Joe Biden telling the world that he was a drunk driver. His family had to plead with Joe Biden’s campaign for years to get him to stop saying that he was drunk/reckless murderer. Biden has never apologized for this horrible lie.

Yep, even when it actually turned out to be the victim's fault. She either blew a stop sign, or a red light if I remember correctly.
