This. This is what made me feel Hunter was some kind of totally entitled punk expecting people to wait on him hand and foot, used to leaving messes behind for others to clean up. But then we see his emails and he seems to be a really insecure person, asking people he writes to basically, "Why don't you like meeeeeee?????? What did I do? Why won't you write back???" I guess that makes sense if he's been abused his whole life and is still trying to please everyone so they "like" him. Maybe when he abandoned the car, he was just so totally messed up, he was just incapable of grabbing the incriminating belongings -- his pipes, drugs?, his brother's AG ID or whatever ID it was that was left in there, etc., IDK. Just a long, messed up past and life will do that, I guess.
