Right around 50 when the doors first opened. I would imagine it is bigger now. The cars kept packing in as I was walking in after the doors first opened.
I was there right as the polls opened. By the time the doors opened I would say probably about 50 people were lined up but the cars kept on packing in. It's a pretty small polling station but given the length of the line right as the doors opened, I would say it was rather sizable.
I noticed quite a few individuals without masks on (myself included). Mostly white. There was a black couple I noticed but I think the majority were white. A lot of couples (I imagine husband and wife) of middle age. Not too much advertising as far as who people were voting for. There was a poll volunteer handing out Republican sample ballots and I saw one lady volunteer to take one but I didn't see others. I don't read too much into that because I myself did not volunteer to take one. I know this is just a feeling so not much can be drawn from it, but I had the feeling that a majority of those in line were voting Trump.
I've been seeing a lot of reports that VA is definitely in play this time around. The only real x factor is whether GOP voters show up or not. Given how utterly destroyed we were in the last election, I think a LOT of conservatives have woken up to the need to vote this time around. I've seen plenty of doomers here saying it isn't possible, but I hold onto a steady hope that VA goes red tonight.
The polling station I go to is pretty small, all things considered. When the doors finally opened I think there were about 50 people in line waiting but the cars continued to pack in as I was voting/leaving. For the early morning I was impressed by the number of individuals who showed up.
The energy here is off the charts. There are countless Trump signs everywhere I look. On this past Saturday, we had a Trump car parade that seemed to stretch on forever. I have very high hopes. I don't think any conservatives are sitting this one out.
A LOT of conservatives sat out the midterm election and gave the dems the whole legislature in VA. Then the anti-2A stuff started in earnest. We pushed back with several 2A rallies just before China virus hit. Indications right now that in early voting in VA that rural and suburban voting is up over 2018 and urban voting is down. I'm hopeful. https://targetearly.targetsmart.com/index.html?view_type=State&demo=Urbanicity&demo_val=All&state=VA
Well done, pede. Great energy!
On this day we sail to victory!!!
