Abbott? Meh. I can't wait to vote against him in the primaries.

And where the FUCK is AG Paxton?

Allen West is not running for office again, which is too bad because I love the man.

I'll never vote dem, or for that matter lib or no-vote, not as long as the dems remain insane/evil. But in the primaries? I fuck my RINOs in the primaries. And I've a lot of RINOs on my ballot, at least two in this year's ballot and probably three in 2022. And I do give them money for the general.

Abbott's pissed me the fuck off, and so has Paxton. I will donate to any non-satanist that runs against them in the primaries.

Last I checked the lawsuit is going slow as hell. They keep stalling at every turn. I don't even want to know what further damage this asshole can do before his last term ends. This is also being done to tarnish his image so he doesn't make a run for governor or something else later on.

Denver?

booblitchutz 18 points ago +19 / -1

In the 80s Austin used to be called “The People’s Republic of Austin”.

Back then it was a liberal bastion because it was SOOO cheap to live there, lots of young folks, some fresh out of college, would just decide to retire there and fuck around with their band and eek out a meager living doing that.

Now it’s a liberal bastion because out of state carpetbaggers, who drove out all the youthful retirees by jacking up the rents.

Mattek 3 points ago +3 / -0

I’m just letting you know I live in LA and EVERYONE is talking about moving to Texas and how great and affordable and nice Texas is. It almost feels like a psyop at this point.

2

Austin was always a liberal hippy shithole whatcha talking about. Just as many homeless in the 80s as there is today back then you just didn’t notice cause EVERYONE was broke.

Now you can tell because big tech brought in better paying jobs.

At one point Austin used to be just as based as the rest of Texas. the change happened after I left in the 90s (was living in the Dallas area in the 80s and 90s as a kid). Seems like alot of cities have gone that way. Denver was awesome in 06, but now is worse than Boulder was at that time and Boulder is a bit more sane despite all the college kids.

9
booblitchutz 9 points ago +11 / -2

Colorado legalized pot. That’s what happened, folks.

4
firestorm117 4 points ago +5 / -1

not inaccurate

1
ZombiWurm 1 point ago +1 / -0

Your not wrong but you are not completely true. Legalizing pot does not directly impact the livability of a place. Pot isn't bad, liberal communists are bad. If you truly believe in people's rights then you know that your rights end where everyone else's rights begin so there is no reason pot should be illegal.

The moved to Austin from their shitty blue cities because Austin had a thriving economy, a great culture, and was affordable...then immediately began implementing the same shitty policies that ruined their old cities.

It's like all the Hispanic immigrants who are supporting socialism. I just don't get it.

Now it’s a playground for tranny wannabe-antifa D students.

2
ZombiWurm 2 points ago +2 / -0

I am from the south, louisiana, and always had AC. It wasn't until I moved to Oregon that I figured out that not everywhere has AC in every apartment. There is no AC here unless you buy it yourself.

1
seaside_dreams 1 point ago +1 / -0

You must be younger than I am.

What I meant is these people would never have moved her without AC. It's notorious for the heat.

I had no AC in most of my house as a kid and even some schools didn't have AC. Younger big city people move to small towns like Austin and change it.

41
RedTX 41 points ago +41 / -0

Confirmed. This area was OK (a little quirky) but still very much TX. Then, the dot com and techie folks started invading. Now the Austin area is a cesspool of transplants, and is one of the worst places to have to do any kind of business. I fucking dread having to go there after what that city has become.

And fast. We need MASSIVE indictments and to fire yuge swaths of DC swamp. The reversal of this can only be done with the disinfectant of light. I came across this saying a couple weeks ago and I love it:

"Truth is like a lion - it doesn't need to be defended. You release it and it defends itself."

I'm on the outskirts too, I walked all around the neighborhood on Halloween and only saw 1 Biden sign. A half-dozen Trump signs.

There is no support for Biden, even out here. It's going to be a massacre.

Williamson county, for the record, is not Austin.

Lee keeps winning because of vote fraud. It's one of those open secrets around Houston.

I grew up in Austin and got my degree from UT in the 90's. I was very happy when my youngest daughter decided she wanted to attend UT as well. Then we did a campus visit together. I knew the school was always liberal, even when I attended, but it has gone off the deep end. Whole place just feels dirty now. I was very pleased after our visit to Baylor that she decided this Christian-based school was for her. Even with COVID she is loving her first year there.

Don’t let the liberal minority fool ya. They yell and scream to sound large but here in Austin in the college aged crowd we’re very pro Trump.

2
WitchRolina 2 points ago +2 / -0

Can agree. Went to put down my vote for Trump. Through the whole year, only ever saw one to two Biden/Harris signs. Found the rest of them outside the polling place, and had to laugh that they were so weak they must have felt the need to remove all the trump signs. Not even one there.

Didn't care, voted Trump. I'm hoping to go to bed tonight to the sweet lullaby of liberal tears.

My son just moved to Austin after two years in Wimberley. Before that he lived his entire life in a medium sized city in the deep South. This is pretty much what he describes to me.

1
WolfLoud 1 point ago +1 / -0

mostly LA cunts that went to austin its because they want 'the place closest to LA'

so of course they sought to turn it into that

it's a bunch of ungrateful assholes though I know one semi celebrity on twitch (i used to like, now I hate) who fled cali during the pandemic, never even went back, was welcomed in Texas, has been allowed to thrive here and continue working successfully - but ran off to new york for voting day. HMM I WONDER WHY

dont come to our cities and act like it's cool just cause its convenient to you - this fatass didnt do shit the entire time he was here but sit on his fat ass on his computer, eat whataburger, watch food videos on youtube and recite dumb half ass thoughts that his brain could barely process

if you know who it is then you know

I know another twitch cunt from chicago that fled the area due to violence, then came to austin got to live in a nice house in a nice neighborhood in a crime free area - and all he did was FUCKING WHINE the entire first month about 'oh but chicago is better' FUCK OUTTA HERE WITH THAT

Im tired of seeing peoples blind loyalty to shit cities like WHY DID YOU LEAVE THERE? OH CAUSE THEY TREATED YOU LIKE SHIT, STOP WITH THE ABUSED WIFE VICTIM MENTALITY - 'Oh but he still loves me, I might get back with him'

fucking morons and this is why nobody respects the left cunts that move here they leave one shithole come to your nice town or city complain that its not shitty enough for them (until they make it so) and do nothing to improve the community or even make themselves a presence in the neighborhood
