Woke up without an alarm and didn't even grab my covfefe before hopping in the car and driving to my polling place. There were already 50 of my neighbors in line at 6:30 am out here in the burbs. Waaaaay more Trump signs on the drive there than last time. Voted straight R. Feels good man.

I think it is, though it's swung in the wrong direction the last few elections (VA).
What's your feeling about VA this year?
Hard to tell. Most of my industry is slavishly left-wing and hive-mind (media). However, four years ago there were only a few brave souls with Trump signs. Now they are as prevalent as Biden signs. And several neighbors who had never mentioned politics have come out vocally for Trump at get-togethers. Guess what I'm saying is, no way Trump gets less VA votes in 2020 than he did in 2016. If VA doesn't flip, it'll come close.

At least when I voted, it was easy to guess the leanings of most people in line. Some were obvious (MAGA hat/shirt, BLM stuff), some less so. I assumed anyone with 2A or American flag apparel was probably for Trump, anyone with Pride logos or an unnatural hair color was probably for Biden. Catching snippets of conversation provided insight on the rest.
Same, did early voting on the first day I could in person, just in case there were peaceful protests today. I do kind of wish I’d waited until today so I could experience the energy, but still glad I did my part. Godspeed to everyone in line today.
Just got back. Red ballot submitted in Ohio. On the way to the polling location, a vehicle accident was getting cleaned up. I literally had to drive over broken glass to KAG.

I live in a town of about 2000 people the line is about 150 deep. Turnout is about 150X the norm.

I was the first one in the parking lot, got there at 5. Nobody in sight, so I sat in my car until others arrived. About 8th or so in line technically. Anyhow, I saved the country. I voted for Trump and straight Republican in South Carolina.

Lot's of Trump supporters voted early, so perhaps that's why they aren't out there, still. I voted last Thursday. Line was an hour long.
KY. Not worried about winning the state. Just concerned that all of the jacking around with locations and things, will do what it was designed to do, and cause some, especially seniors to stay home. I normally vote 2 minutes from home. Had to drive 20 minutes to vote today. No big deal for me, but some older folks are pretty set in their comfort zones.

I waited about an hour this morning at 7am, and i’m in a not-so-big state.
I'm planning on showing up ~20 minutes early so I have a good chance at being first in line.
Mission accomplished. I was the first one by about 7 minutes. Looks like turnout is going to be yuge.
I voted on a farm converted to a tourist stop converted to a polling place.
Austin has a ton of polling places so I thought "I'll come early anyway but I'm not expecting a big line." I was the 5th person in; but when I left there were at least forty people behind me and the lot was starting to fill up.

I thought we'd be first too, but no. We got there at 5:40 and there was a yuge line. Voting opened a little late (they said they had 'technical difficulties'). By the time we got in, the line was around the block. Once inside it went smoothly. We were out around 7.

It felt more impactful to me to be a part of the Election Day surge especially since it left the D’s hopeful the shy voter was a myth. I’m not shy about it, but my office has a ‘no politics policy’ which only applies when a R gets involved in a D conversation.
