Edit: only one was down while I was there, so it just slowed us a bit. The repairman actually was arriving as I left!

Seriously, what is so complicated about a voting machine that they “break down” every time they’re put into use? It’s a counting machine. A tabulator.
New machines, paid for by slush funds, bought from political connected friends, with shitty software that's not properly tested because nobody who is "politically connected" actually knows a damn thing worthwhile - like electrical engineering and software coding.

Don’t hand the ballots to the staff anywhere the machines go down tell them you will gladly wait for them to bring them back up and encourage others to do the same, I’ll bet they’ll get fixed pretty fast if enough people are watching them and not letting them throw ballots away
