Waited in line to cast my vote at 0700 this morning, and the voting machine stopped working. Everyone had to feed their ballots into a bin on the side of the machine.
I asked what the proper procedures were following this type of scenario. The poll worker said that the ballots will be counted and fed into a new voting machine once the new machine gets there.
Who’s to say that they people aren’t just tossing my voting and replacing it with a Biden vote? Or maybe they mark both boxes so that votes become invalid. I saw nearly 100 people put their votes in this box, and the new one still hadn’t arrived yet.
This is a suburb of the Twin Cities so it is an important area to win.

Check and see if there is a republican poll watcher there, if not, I would sit and wait so you can see them replace the machine and not stuff extra ballots in there. I think this is our only defense. STAY AROUND AND WATCH THEM when they tell you there is a glitch. When people leave, they can do anything.

Fucked up and forgot the password to the original account. Called and emailed about the issue. Apparently I wasn’t the first one to call in.
Issue is in the process of being taking care of.
Tell the people outside if you can. Trump voters should leave and come back later. Don't trust them to scan it. My advice. But if you already filled out your ballot, all you can do is wait.

It looks like many of our pedes are on the frontlines. How these situations are being handled could make a difference in these close elections. It sucks, but it looks like it’s going to have to be you. Report it. Stay if you can. Encourage others to wait, or come back later and use a proper machine. Don’t let them get away with this.
STAY THERE. Stay until its fixed. DO NOT LEAVE. Make sure you get your ballot counted legitly.
In Europe, at least in some places, you normally have volunteer observers from the competing parties and various NGOs to keep an eye on the proceedings so that there is no monkey business (and, well, to help to count the ballots - under normal circumstances).
If you are in an inner ring suburb like Robbinsdale or Fridley, please stay there until they fix it, if you can. You have a right to make sure your vote is counted.
