I pray that enough Chicago city voters like myself peeled away from the Democratic plantation and voted for Trump + a straight Republican Ticket.
We need to get rid of Danny Davis in the House and Dick Durbin in the Senate. Both are such cucked losers.
I pray that enough Illinoisans are fed up with JB and Lori and all of their bullshit to flip this state. I know it's among the longest of shots, but I pray nonetheless.
Yes. And No to limiting the sale of "assault weapons" in Chicago.
We don't have a legal gun problem in the City. If we do, it's the fact that there aren't enough legal guns to combat all of the illegal guns with the serial numbers filed off on the streets.
I haven't been been able to flip many to Trump (just 1) but I have been able to flip many on this tax. I use the analogy of giving a heroin addict a bottle of oxy, or putting cart before horse for the olds. Farm Bureau is against it so all of downstate is voting no. Feeling good!
To me it seems likelier that Trump will take IL than CA, and in any case if 0bama could take IN in 2008, then I see no reason Trump can't take IL today.
Ding ding ding ding...that last part especially. I'm curious what would happen if we had federal voter ID and federal oversight to Chicago elections, if the Dems would be so successful. We might have, dare I say, our own Giuliani.
Hey, I voted no on all the ballot initiatives and red down ballot. The response to the riots is what finally got me off the plantation after questioning for months. Porkie and Lightfoot have decimated the economy with their rona restrictions and weakness on riots. Richard J. Daley has to be spinning in his grave by how the rioters and looters got off scott-free
Yeah! I've seen you around here fren. I'm in the same boat. I think a lot of people around Chicago woke up during the lockdowns.
The seemingly arbitrary nature of some of the restrictions combined with the lack of transparency and overt political motivations rubbed a lot of people the wrong way. Indoor dining is currently shut down in Chicago, so restaurants have taken to setting up tents with heat lamps inside of them just to stay in business.
So, if you don't mind dying from carbon monoxide poisoning in an environment that is by no means any safer than just sitting inside a normal fucking restaurant please, sUpPoRt LoCaL bUsiNessEs!!
(I still do support them I just hate how fucking stupid everything is.)
Pede here in Joliet. I voted straight republican. Unfortunately the house district 86 has no republican challenger. I want madigan out. The da is also running unapposed. I voted republican for state senate because we desperately need to flip that. I voted for Rick Laib for congress and I voted for Mark Curran because I hate Dickhead Durbin. Yes dick, haiti is a fucking shithole ok? Cry more . I also did a lot of research on the courts. It looks like the 3rd IL supreme court district is a swing district..i voted to fire the Dem, same for that sjw biatch on the court of appeals. Then I researched every republican judge and voted to retain. I passed my judge cheat sheet to a bunch of other pedes. My friend lives on district 85, that's a chance to flip a state house of representatives seat. Seriously, it's a disgrace that the land lord Lincoln isn't run by the party of Lincoln..time to expell these commies.

And No on the fair tax proposal.

Chicago has been deep blue forever, because mostly high black population but also because Dems cheat like hell in Chicago

It is stupid, fren. I always feel like I'm LARPing with these restrictions. Straight up security theatre.
Exactly
Yeah..it's a disgrace that that admiral ackbar/beetlejuice love child is mayor.
