That's what they call it. They would say the same to me and I barely have Europeanness.

If they call me 'Ugly English American', BUT the Amish still ALL VOTE FOR TRUMP,

...... I AM JUST PERFECTLY FINE WITH THAT and accept it with a smile ! !

Just like Vigano, they know this is a spiritual battle. Either stand up with integrity and spiritual fortitude like the Amish or get left in the dust

No, they don't. They don't like to take part in the modern, "English" world. 2016 was the first time I ever saw the Amish vote, until now. I've heard they're even letting the women vote this time.

They don't like to interact with the English except to sell you stuff (some are not as strict as others, but they all like to keep to themselves). And they're very traditional, so the women don't make community decisions (heck, unless you're an elder, you don't), so they wouldn't vote even though there's nothing really saying they can't. But in 2016, they decided to turn out, and now again. There's your sign, I guess -- when you're such an evil fuckstick that the Amish come out to try and defeat you, then damn son...you're an evil fuckstick.

I believe a significant amount of what little white population growth there has been in the US since the 1990's is mostly down to the Amish and Mennonites. I think the Amish have doubled in number recently.

Honestly the modern world is so degenerate. We have the Amish who live like its the 1880's. Maybe its time for someone to form a sect that agree to live like its the 1980's. Maybe you can have a single computer that sits in a room of the house instead of these infernal smartphones that allow big tech to toy with you and listen to every word you say. Maybe you have a TV, but you only feed your kids an episode of whatever once a day or once a week like it was in the 1990's.

Maybe you have an old games console as well but kids play outside most of the time like when we were kids.

A lot of people don't have it in them to live entirely free of technology but maybe how things were in the 80's or 90's were OK. I grew up in the 90's and I'm pretty much the last of the kids who had a decent childhood.

You just described my house! Except the dog chewed through the Atari wires (I gave the dog a piece of my steak for that -- my husband had to have it...good doggie!), and we don't have a tv anymore. My kids spend a lot of time outside, even the adult ones.

But we've been voting since the late 1700s...

Just saying that I've never seen the Amish turn out before, which I haven't.

So much this. I miss living near the Amish - great baked goods and vegetables!
