The only good new games are Doom Eternal and Ghost of Tsushima. Overall, Japanese studios are > American these days. Fighting games are still good, but unfortunately fell prey to the shitty monetization practices of today.
I picked up a PS3 and plan to replace the hard drive with an SSD since that console is pretty notorious for its disc reader breaking down. Need it to be useful even if it's limited to digital games only, but I'll take advantage of the disc reader until it breaks down.
