Same. My husband and I have already decided that. He's a great Architect too, has personally designed over 20,000 beds of Multi-family living. That's the real cost of communism. Quality of products and living goes down.
Exactly. What these socialist fail to realize is that you won't have the abundance of wealth created under capitalism if you destroy a person's incentive to work hard. People work hard to benefit themselves and their families, they don't bust their ass to work for people they don't know. That's just human nature.
The only way you solve the "free rider" problem under socialism is to basically shift to authoritarian communism where the moochers are basically forced to work.
Yeah. It just cracks me up when I see some stoner kid wearing a Che Guevara t-shirt, not realizing that Guevara realized that lazy people were counterproductive to the "revolution" and thus needed to be either executed or sent to labor camps. They sure don't talk about that when they tell us their ideas of this socialist utopia.
My cousin and his gf (both far left) just had a baby. They are 35 and 36 neither of them have ever worked. The gf had done community college a couple semesters, and my cousin was in college for engineering on and off for years. My aunt and uncle pay for everything for them. They live in a trailer and bitch about everyone who has work and become successful. They say "we are moving to Florida" or "Im going to go to college." They love the "im still figuring myself out" line. They pretty much smoke pot and drink all day.
They honestly believe socialism is going to support their lifestyle. It's unbelievable.

They don't get the "forced to work" part. They actually believe they are just going to continue to be the lazy bums they are.
