I would say a bit of both. I never realized how much of a conservative I really was until the radical left started tearing down American ideals and institutions in the name of 'progressivism.' If those are the nutjobs the dem party wants to pander to, I'll have nothing to do with it. Same for the GOP.
All in all, I'm tired of career politicians selling out hard working Americans to foreign entities, unethical corporatists and fanatical socialists for personal gain. I don't expect any politician to be squeaky clean, just don't throw the American people under the bus.
