I had never even been on reddit but I read a Slate or Salon article about how dangerous this specific subreddit called “the_donald” was, because it was a breeding ground for white supremacists and the evil alt-right and deceptive memes. I wanted to see for myself just how deplorable you all were so I could understand how bad this whole Trump thing was - “know your enemy” right? I lurked, you guys didn’t seem evil, just had different views on some things than me. Then the Covington kids thing happened and I saw the full video link on TD. Wondered WTF else I’d been lied to about. Then reddit banned you and I followed you all over here. Now I’m one of you. Thanks liberal media for pointing me in the right direction! Otherwise I’d have still had the blinders on.
