I didn't support Trump or Killary in 2016. The latter was an absolute hell no & I considered Trump rather unpresidental & boorish. After he won I watched everyone around me lost their minds. Suddenly everything was racist & my rights were in jeopardy. I didn't fall for the narrative that was being spun, but curiosity got the better of me, and if I'm supposed to believe that half the country was evil I wanted to see this evil for myself. What I slowly found out over the next four years was that I agreed with a lot of the conservative platform. While I may not be 100% in lockstep with everyone here I can stand in solidarity with all of you as fellow Americans that love this country & want the best for it. I feel like the new Republican party that I see with Trump can be something truly great. The left have lost their damn minds (or the mask slipped and we truly see what they're about). No amount of convincing will prove to me that they really care for the working class. It seems that what they want is to keep the working class, the working class. Apparently once some people start to accumulate wealth they start to become more conservative with their spending.
I was on the donald subreddit before the purge, so I naturally followed. While I'm not one the most active people on here I do like to stop by & read some of the post. Personally I've never been much of a shit posting memester, so the askthedonald subreddit was more up my alley. Regardless I'm here now with all you fine people. At the end of the day I want to stand in solidarity with various, diverse individuals under the banner of a common goal. Doesn't matter if we share the same gender, race, sexual preferences, etc. We're all American & we should want what's best for this country.
I like being on the Trump "Trian," but it shouldn't be a train? What's a trian btw? I hope it's like a train but better. Maybe something with free Guinness & some good BBQ.
