Looking to spend somewhere around $100, because I will be picking up a few other necessities, but looking for a great bottle to celebrate the evening with. I usually stick with the tried and true Pendelton, or crown for regular drinks, but want to do something special.
Let me know what you classy pedes think.
Not too familiar with anything other than single malt scotch, and for that, I recommend The Balvenie. Any of them. Smooth, creamy, sweet, and not a a hint of used ashtray (peat). I like it best with just one cube of ice or a tiny splash of water. Other good choices are Glenmorangie Tusail, and Glenlivet 18 Year, both with the same flavor profile as the Balvenie.
