Looking to spend somewhere around $100, because I will be picking up a few other necessities, but looking for a great bottle to celebrate the evening with. I usually stick with the tried and true Pendelton, or crown for regular drinks, but want to do something special.
Let me know what you classy pedes think.
Sorry it's not expensive but I actually prefer Buffalo Trace to Blantons. Made by same folks (they even make pappy). Buffalo trace should be around 30-40. Absolutely a classy, repeatable whisky. Would rarely ever recommend anything over it for many reasons. MAGA Expensive... You could go with a $100 japanese whisky Hibiki..... which tastes the same as Monkey Shoulder (Blended scotch for $30). Im cheap I guess
There is no shame in being cheap for the regular drinkin days... lord knows I am. I find a good make that I like usually somewhere right around the price you are talking about.
