538 says the Democrats will win big and it will force the Republican party to become more moderate. I feel like that's the same take I have except it will be the Republicans who win big and Dems will need to become more moderate.
If the Dems lose, they should scrap their leadership and realign.

I’m not a Republican or Democrat, but if they ever become as tone-deaf as these Dems have been in the last 6 years, I will say the same for them.
The left has been extreme and has been expanding the Republican base lefward. There is no reason to moderateize the right.
