I heard that CloudFare may be the one behind taking these sites down. When I came to this site a few minutes ago, I had to wait 5 seconds with that message from CloudFare.
I'm able to get to gab.com just fine. Just looks like a temporary outage. I get that everyone is jumpy, but we can't cry wolf every time a site fails to load the first time. Even the error message shows that Gab's servers were still up, as it was serving you a Gab maintenance page. If it was legit down, it'd be a Cloudflare host unresolved message or a 404 not found screen.
Bitchute announced that critical hosting infrastructure had been deplatformed, but they have since managed to get it back up, although there are remaining issues caused by it. They are waiting to hear from their service provider to know more.
