Ive talked to several guys who work on Wall St and they say the market has been expecting a Biden win. If Trump wins and the markets tank tomorrow you will know that is true cause the market will have to get out of their Biden Administration positions.
I'm wondering which of Biden's expressed policies would lead to positive outcomes for the stock market.... but I agree with your post election hypothesis.
From what they tell me its not so much his policies at this stage its the money getting into certain positions so they are in the most favorable position for the outcome they are predicting. Biden may be bad for making money overall but there is some sector where you can make money off his policies so they want to be in the best positions to take advantage of that. In listening to them, its sounds like they know how to read money markets but are basing their political decisions on what they see on CNN.
