When normally he would have been lying in bed this afternoon because he had a chemo treatment this morning. But we found out this morning that the results from his CT scan from last week showed his cancer is stable in some places, shrinking in others, and his oncologist gave him the week off. :) He's been fighting cancer for 2.5 years and has the most amazing outlook and attitude. I'm so happy he was able to vote today, and even though we are in a red state, I'm not taking anything for granted right now! I just wanted to share this with all you pedes, and also ask for prayers for my daddy to continue healing and for a full recovery. My dad means the world to me. He's the one who taught me to have a healthy suspicion and dis-trust for the government and media. He taught me life skills and common sense. He's a big part of who I am and I love him so much.
