What about all the mail in ballots still floating around after 9pm? When do those get counted and will they be included? This election is so messy

22 states + DC will count all ballots that are postmarked on or before Election Day, even if they arrive later. They have deadlines for how late, but definitely will be thousands of votes to be counted each state. Washington state allows any ballots that arrive by November 23 (!!!)
