Colorado, Virginia, Illinois, etc have a couple of incredibly dense liberal cities that dictate liberal craziness for the whole state. You look at a map and it’s solid red but a couple of blue dots. 90-95% red by square mileage.

We need electoral colleges at the state level for the same reason we have it nationally: so a couple of overpopulated cities cannot impose their will on the rest of the country.

Yes. It would be great for red states that get dragged blue because of one or two heavy blue high population counties.

Minnesota is another. between the second and third tier suburbs is where the change starts to show. Outside the third it is all Trump Country.
