Honestly South Dakota looks good. Nevada is a maybe with low taxes and house prices expected to tank. Let's see how they vote. I am in Utah and it is tolerable for now.

Yeah been looking at South Dakota. Covid hit my finances hard. I may have to wait until tax return unless it gets bad enough we have to bug out.

Low unemployment is SD and Utah because we never locked down. I was afraid the comedy show on holloween would be canceled, turned out the extreme alert on my phone was only for unregulated gatherings LOL. Comedy show follows health protocols and was on. Saw JP Sears

Utah has always been a choice too. The thing I'm worried about is being accepted coming from another state. Never moved out of state before.

Depends on where you live, I am from out of state as well. If you are not a church member there are a few very uptight communities you will want to avoid. I avoid those as a member as well because I am not a Utah Mormon and don't fit in. Bountiful is pretty awful. Weber County where I live now is great, like living out of state except more red. Salt Lake is blue and awful. Utah County tends toward the uptight, but if you are not a church member it should not affect you. Summit County is dominated by people from LA. Rural areas tend to be very nice. There are good and bad everywhere. I know some very good people in Utah County, but overall it is not my thing.
