could anyone who know more than me explain who would win if it was a 269/269 tie? It's somthing to do with the house so wouldn't it be dems win? or it that wrong?

Trump would win

Each state would get 1 delegate to elect the president with

More red states than blue states

Vote in the House, each state gets one vote, Pence breaks tie (I think)

The house votes for it. Republicans have house majority by state but that can change after the election. Republicans have to keep state house majority

If no candidate earns a majority in the Electoral College (i.e 270 votes), then a contingent election is called where the House of Representatives votes for the president and the Senate votes for the Vice President.

The kicker is that the entire House doesn't vote, but rather each state's delegation gets one vote between themselves. Essentially each state gets one vote for the president

House picks President, Senate picks Vice I believe. So yeah, that’s a dem win.

Incorrect. Each state delegation gets one vote in the House in that scenario. The GOP has control of more delegations. Trump wins.

Maines 2nd district. 1 vote for Trump. Locked and guaranteed. In 16 Trump came to Nothern Maine FOUR TIMES !!! to lock up that vote. 2 very low key trips this year. Mike Pence, Don Jr. And Eric all came in the last 2 months.

We got this..Maines 2nd District is Trump Country.
