Yep, my brother-in-law just moved back to Texas from Illinois. He was talking about how it was nice not paying as much in taxes now that he was back in Texas, then he turns around and votes straight democrat in every election since getting back.

Part of the problem is our Republican government has welcomed West Coast companies here with open arms, even giving them tax abatements, to move their offices to Texas. I don't know how to fix the issues and it seems like the cats out of the bag and there's no stopping the locusts from continuing to flood here and destroy Texas values.
Don't forget H-1B Indians voting for the socialism they escaped from back home in India once they get green cards -> citizenship through their employers. The 1965 and 1990 immigration acts will be our undoing if we don't get immigrants to assimilate to American culture and our love of liberty
It's sad really - you know many people think of Indians as very entrepreneurial people because the fact is most of the entrepreneurs left India because they felt their money was safer in the UK, Canada or the US. You here some of them complain there are to many Indians around and they will vote for the parties who will let them bring more of their people over here and bring in the same corrupt system they fled from.

Paying them better might increase their productivity as well. It was lost on him though.
