This makes me sad. I am in Colorado now but I came from Austin. I’m tired of living in liberal places and would love to move to Montana. I’ve been planning on it for almost six years now, ever since I went out there in a work trip and fell in love. (Been back to visit four times since then, even in the winter).
I don’t know if there are any places left that are safe from liberal invasion but I hope you and your family find something that works for you.
Well the election went about as good as we could get locally & my family actually know Greg & Steve personally & they are stand up guys ,the older family members have been involved with local GOP for decades (my dad was feet away from the body slam set up as he was ready to punch the moron out). So that gives us hope, what needs t happen now is over the next 4 yrs a effort must be made from stopping the Libtard refugees getting in to power positions in the local government .
l keep telling my wife l am all for buying a large remote spread & walking around all day in a Bear coat , smoking a pipe ,with my gun slung over my shoulder ,muttering about corrupt government officials as per Col. William Ludlow in Legends of the Fall, she just rolls her eyes & walks off muttering why me & mother warned me for some reason ?
Just a couple of weeks ago we had a perfect example of why we love living here, the family has run a guiding operation as a side line for decades,so l have a few guns & shoot a bit more than most.
Last few years l have looked after the Alpine hunting side of the guiding & been hooked into Long Range Hunting so we have been building some Hi Spec rifles,so l built a 1600 yard range on our Homestead block.My uncle & l just finished building him a 338 Lapua Magnum when he was getting supplies the local Police chief was in there checking how hunting season was going ,so we ended up with a BBQ on my range for 5 Cops ,3 Wardens & the Fire Chief all shooting guns & lined up excited to shoot his 338 Lapua Magnum,my custom 338 Wildcat hunting rifle , new custom 458 Lott & a few of our other toys .
Not many places in the world let alone America that would happen & very few even Western countries where the average Joe gets to personally interact & be friendly with Government officials & representatives no strings attached.
Seeing you love our country so much & are a patriot f you head up this way again,if you want give me plenty of notice( as l travel a lot with our business) you are welcome to come out & have a look around the Ranch,if you like horses the wife runs a horse breeding & riding school you can go chase some cattle around & have a look around or have a shot on the range, as l m a Military trained firearms Instructor & coach .
