Very pleased that our state went full Republican, and pleased about protecting guns.

But very disappointed in legalizing marijuana and lowering the age to 18. This will only attract homeless druggies to our state. All the druggies from the surrounding red rural states will flock here. We were already too close to going blue; I fear we will never be Republican again.

There are enough blue states with legal pot left over to attract the druggies looking for handouts. Keeping marijuana from the public is unconstitutional. I don't agree with fags butt fuckimg each other, but controlling what somebody does in their own home is unconstitutional. I just dont want them pushing it on my children (I dont even have kids) and I feel the same with pot. Keep it legal but ban it from public spaces and keep it out of the fucking movies and television shows that are pointed towards children (which is all of it).

Hey there, I'm a Montanan as well. Voted R down the ticket but I disagree with you on the marijuana legalization, I voted yes on it. I do not think legalizing weed will attract homeless druggies. Just go to downtown Billings and look at all the homeless drunk Natives sleeping in the alleys. Alcohol is much more harmful than weed! If Alcohol is legal, weed should be too. Just my two cents.

I get what you're saying, but if anything this logic only reinforces why alcohol should be illegal, not why weed should be legal. It's trashy and will trashify our state, and attract the kinds of people I don't want living here. (Since the only people I've ever known who "smoke weed erreday" are those on SNAP benefits, Medicaid, gov't housing, WIC benefits, collecting disability, unemployment, and usually involved with child support.)
