NC’s mail-in voting requires ballots to be requested, signed, witnessed and returned. The voter can cast a vote for the Presidential Election and leave the rest blank. The ballot only has to be post marked no later than Election Day, and received no later than 5pm on Nov. 12th to be counted. If there’s a discrepancy on the ballot (such as no witness), it can be corrected with a simple affidavit and still counted. The two Republican members of the Board resigned in protest, to no effect.

Over 1m ballots were requested for this election - 500k for Dems, 180k for GOP & 325k for Unaffiliated voters. If the Dems return even 80% of their requested ballots - that’s an additional 400k votes. It would evaporate Trump’s current 77k vote lead, and leave him at a deficit of 323k votes. If the remaining 505k mail-in ballots which were requested between the GOP & Unaffiliated and similarly returned at the same 80% rate as Dems - that’d leave 404k available votes. Trump would then have to win app. 79% of the remaining votes up for grabs to overcome is deficit. Of course, any number of variables could change this math - higher / lower number of returned ballots, some who requested a ballot and then voted in person, etc. - but that misses the point, which is this: they’re not calling NC because they’re about to steal it with those fucking mail-in ballots.

In broad daylight. In front of God and everybody.

So what does Trump do? Nothing? Then he loses NC. Sue them in court? What if he still loses? Even if he wins the case, Dems will use that as perfect fodder to say that he’s an illegitimate President. When coupled with a loss of the popular vote, it’d be a compelling argument to a great many, whether we like or agree with it or not, and that’s the entire point. They hate this man, and will do anything to rob him of re-election, or to cripple and neuter him, even if he is. I’m certain that there’s a perfectly legal, peaceful (I’m legit not trying or wanting to incite any action, by anyone) and intelligent solution to this, but damned if I know what it may be. Any ideas?

No, he's not losing it. The participation percentage is already too high and all the Democrat strongholds are 100% in. NC goes Trump.

I’d love for you to be right - but Dems requested 500k ballots and don’t care to cheat. As I said, I think this is what unfurls and why NC hasn’t been called.

I'm right on this one.
