In this case you don't need to have a mismatched calculation with total votes and voting total (tallied votes vs record of total appearances at poll). This hides the fix better AND it means you don't have to make the change after voting ends or have it an issue where there are votes in the system before voting begins.

They LOVE mail in ballots and ballot harvesting. Even if you're disinterested in voting and/or too lazy, both of those remove the need for you to even lift a finger. Heck, if they come by to collect your vote and haven't marked it down yet they'll probably passive-aggressively (or annoyingly) pressure you then and there to just mark the ballot and you're down.

Even our armpit of the county town of “hillbillies” had more Biden than Trump signs. Come to think of it, it probably has to do with the lack of openness of supporting Trump due to losing a job or being called a “racist”.
