that sounds crazy dude. Why would Trump want it to be nail-bitingly close? A 306-232 EC result like 2016 would have smashed the hopes of leftists/deep state, and maybe humble them to cooperate.

If Trump wins this, ( I hope so), MSM would spin it as "he does not have the support of the people". Watch them use this election result as justification that their radical agenda has the American support.

Because he wasn’t going to win in a landslide. He just had to keep in close and he did.
