They find it easy to quote the current pope because he rarely mentions the most fundamental aspects of Catholicism; God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

Seriously, the guy wrote a 43,000 word letter to what is usually addressed to all Catholics around the world (though he chose to address it to all of humanity) and he mentioned God 0 times, Jesus twice, Holy Spirit twice. He has removed the most fundamental part of Catholicism from the religion.

Oh no, a pope that ardent Catholics don't like, who rarely mentions God, Jesus, or the Holy Spirit, and is incredibly hypocritical (Vatican has a beautiful wall) endorses a guy who advocates for abortion until birth.
