I voted today in AZ, Maricopa county. We were all given Sharpies to fill in our ballot. I am now hearing that those are invalidated? Can someone please let me know if I am over reacting or if I should be worried? Here is the video I am referencing. https://twitter.com/i/status/1323875058918461442

If you used a sharpie your vote wasnt counted. The poll workers made sure to disqualify your vote! Report this to the governors office right now.
Is this for real? They were literally giving everyone a fine tip sharpie to vote. There was no other options unless you brought your own pen.
sharpie markers result in cancelled votes. you can look online to see if your vote was processed. Make sure to report this

To the best of my knowledge they aren't necessarily invalided but the voter machine will not read them and have to be counted manually. Why would they insist on sharpie? I filled my mail in with ball point. I'd suggest calling in the morning.
They should be manually counted. The ballot is numbered, can be traced back to the voter. AZ Pedes make SURE your vote was counted as you filled it out!

County election board should tell you how you can check in your county.

They were handing out fine tipped sharpies to everyone. No other options unless you brought your own writing utensil.
You are not overreacting. The sharpie bleeds and then invalidates the voted. Certain demographics vote during different times of the day, and you can generally pick out a voter based on the looks with enough accuracy (my unprofessional layman’s brain, about 60%-70%) to make a statistical difference.
It's even simpler than that. If more democrats are mailing in and more republicans are walking in then if you run any walk in centre just sabotage it however you can and you can probably assume it'll result in tipping the balance your way.
