A civil war needs organized sides. A few people with guns doesn't make a civil war. The "3%" would have to organize and come out at the same time to the same places in order for it to have an effect. But it's hard to organize that without the cops and shit busting it up before it gets off the ground. Who's doing this organizing? Where?
The glowie thing is cause the grenade comment. If it was just rifles, sure, but where are you going to go? When? with who? how you gonna get authorities to surrender to you? how will you take command of NGs and cops? Have you stopped to think about this shit for a minute? Do you think it's as easy as owning weapons?
you are clearly not versed in modern warfare. We are not going to be digging into trenches and lining up in formation sending musket volleys downrange. Asymmetric warfare is what you need to expect if shit pops off....quit speaking out of your ass.
Asymmetric warfare is fabulous and all that, but it's not winning. We're still in Afghanistan after two decades of asymmetric warfare. Heck, we're still in Iraq.
That has nothing to do with our ability, again speaking out of your ass. That has to do with poor leadership installed and ROE under Bush and Obama, that war is not supposed to end.
