With all the shenanigans, I thought I’d take a break and look up some history of amendment votes!
Most of us are familiar with the problem minimum wage brings, so I won’t get into that. But one thing the liberals ALWAYS argue: “Just raise it and tie it to inflation, then we’ll never have to manually raise it again!”
LIES!
I looked up Florida, they voted for a $6.15 minimum wage in 2004, and tied it to inflation. Today it is $8.56, which is in line/slightly above inflation.
But now they want a $15 minimum wage (which apparently 60% of Floridians were stupid and voted for).
So not only is a minimum shit anyways, but even their BS “compromise” argument of “well if were gonna have one anyways, might as well tie it to inflation you know?” is a crock of shit.
