Militia fag here: a militia doesn't have to follow the "commander-in-chief." There was a great deal of resistance against Obama in militia movements. It is good that Trump HAS the Militia's support.

When has a CiC called up the militia?
The obvious example is the American Revolution when citizens were called to enlist in Washington's army (bringing along their own firearms).
Another example is the War of 1812, where the state militias played a significant role under Madison and his generals.
