- Someone receives an unsolicited mail-in ballot.
- Person votes for their candidate on mail-in ballot
- Person goes to polls on November 3rd and votes for their candidate
- Person drops off their mail-in ballot at the Post office on November 3rd
- Mail-in ballot comes in, is opened and envelope is separated from ballot
- Second vote for their candidate is registered.
We are relying on someone opening an envelope to make sure the ballot is not counted twice (one mail-in, one at the polls)? WTF?
My concern all along.
