This is dumb misinformation. This is the status for your EARLY ballot. If the ballot was sent but never returned (which is clear on the screenshot) and you go to vote on election day, your EARLY ballot is cancelled. As it should be.

Pede, this. Happened at my location too. A lady came to vote and was told she had requested a mail-in ballot so she couldn't vote unless she had her ballot on her to give back. She was able to call county auditor (?) and have her early ballot "cancelled" so she could then vote in person. My county went 75% for Biden (sorry pedes), so I know they weren't trying to fuck over Trump votes. State still went red.
I checked, my vote was received 10-30.

I'm in the same boat as her. My early ballot was mailed but I never received it, so I was checking the az site constantly before the election to make sure nobody else mailed in my ballot. Then I went in on election day, scanned my driver's license, and voted. When I went to check later that day, it said the early ballot was cancelled which it should be.
But as of right now there is no way to check the status of your election day ballot. I also used a sharpie, and when I put it in the scanning machine, it said accepted. But it could've been invalidated later on without my knowledge and still no way to check

If you were issued an early ballot by mail and then showed up at your polling place to vote in person they should have directed you to the Provisional Ballot desk to fill out some paperwork and then receive a provisional ballot. You can follow the status of your provisional ballot HERE. Your early ballot by mail will then show as "cancelled" and your provisional ballot should be counted.
contact your Attorney general and take it to the courts. You are not the only one.

The AP stats have barely any Election Day votes. The totals they showed all night were almost the same as the early votes already received by October 31.
And all the “percentage of votes” numbers are crap because turnout blew past all projections.

Yeah, I'm not sure. I just know that people were saying the whole Wisconsin votes being >100% was erroneous also. The 138,000 jump at 4 am in Michigan and Wisconsin to Trump's 0 jump could be viewed by anyone and it boggles the mind. I just know there is a danger in supporting something that is easily discredited, especially if a dummy like me can notice a little discrepancy like the unique misspelling of a word, then it may cause other people to call it into question. If we get busted for backing something that turns out to be not true, it will be a net negative. We have to pick the right battles.

"Canceled" is the common spelling in the US, and "cancelled" is the common spelling in the UK and other commonwealth countries. As a mnemonic just remember we gave them that L in 1776.

If you were sent a mail in ballot but instead voted in person, early or on Election Day, your portal will show TWO ballots. The one tied to the mail in ballot will show as CANCELLED but the other should show as ACCEPTED.

This only counts absentee ballots mailed in or dropped off at the polls. They don’t track individual ballots. If you vote in person it says cancelled. After you fill it out it gets dropped into a big box and they all get sent through the machines together in batches.
