This is dumb misinformation. This is the status for your EARLY ballot. If the ballot was sent but never returned (which is clear on the screenshot) and you go to vote on election day, your EARLY ballot is cancelled. As it should be.

Pede, this. Happened at my location too. A lady came to vote and was told she had requested a mail-in ballot so she couldn't vote unless she had her ballot on her to give back. She was able to call county auditor (?) and have her early ballot "cancelled" so she could then vote in person. My county went 75% for Biden (sorry pedes), so I know they weren't trying to fuck over Trump votes. State still went red.
I'm in the same boat as her. My early ballot was mailed but I never received it, so I was checking the az site constantly before the election to make sure nobody else mailed in my ballot. Then I went in on election day, scanned my driver's license, and voted. When I went to check later that day, it said the early ballot was cancelled which it should be.
But as of right now there is no way to check the status of your election day ballot. I also used a sharpie, and when I put it in the scanning machine, it said accepted. But it could've been invalidated later on without my knowledge and still no way to check
