I'm in the same boat as her. My early ballot was mailed but I never received it, so I was checking the az site constantly before the election to make sure nobody else mailed in my ballot. Then I went in on election day, scanned my driver's license, and voted. When I went to check later that day, it said the early ballot was cancelled which it should be.

But as of right now there is no way to check the status of your election day ballot. I also used a sharpie, and when I put it in the scanning machine, it said accepted. But it could've been invalidated later on without my knowledge and still no way to check
