This is how I use the mail in ballot. I fill it out at home doing research. Then drop it off at a polling place or drop box election day. You can track you ballot status. If you vote in person you cannot.
So, I decided to check my own state of NJ (I know, I know). I check my mail-in ballot history and see:
11/3/20: General Election, Ballot received date:9/30/20. Ballot Status: Received.
7/7/20: Primary Election, Ballot received date:7/2/20. Ballot Status: Accepted.
I had another mail in ballot in 2012 where the status is “Accepted”. The “received” status has me a little on edge. NJ being NJ, maybe it takes a few days or so I’ll wait. But, check your ballot status please and keep copies.

If we voted in person in AZ, can we check the status somehow?
Probably not... our voting system is fucking stupid.
The Pepe in me, very strong it feels.
UP UP UP! this needs to go.
