York County as well (sharpies used), everyone at my location in southern York County used sharpies. Looked it up on the vote tracking site and they don’t have results for any of my family members. Tried to call my election office but hours of wait time.
The ballots are manually filled out and scanned to get a result. Sharpie cant be read by the machines (I think its looking for a reflection), so the ballot isnt counted.
Democrat poll officials gave Republican voters sharpies to fill out their ballots. Sharpies bleed through the back, as well as not being able to be read by the Scantron machine. This means many Republican ballots were invalidated.
With how many scantron tests we had in school it amazes me how many people don’t realize that’s all ballots are. Never ever use anything besides pencil or ball point pen on them
pk let’s say the instructions say you need to use pen. And they have a marker, and your already checked off. And you don’t have a pen. How is that fair? It’s also ambiguous I don’t remember it saying what kind if pen but i had a felt tipped marker/pen like a papermate

Buddy I work with in Chicago said they gave him a sharpie as well, not that Illinois is in play, but seems to be a tactic used all over
