A whole set of problems arise from electronic voting too: open-source algorithm with verifiable hash for the voters? Or does the deep-state three letter agencies design and make sure to install the code in the machines?

Until we have some blockchain certified auditable electronic option, the best way is PENCIL, PAPER, VOTER ID and INK IN THE FINGER.

The point is not to have machines take over but we are by far the most advanced country - a burger joint can buy a credit card chip reader for under $100 that can do thousands of transactions per day involving thousands of dollars - if they haven’t fixed these issues its because they don’t want to.
